2025 Property Assessments mailed January 10

AIRDRIE, AB – Today, The City of Airdrie mailed the annual 2025 property assessment notices and opened the customer review period, which runs until March 24.

Property assessments are based on an estimate of the market value of each property as of July 1 of the previous tax year and property conditions as of December 31.

“Property in Airdrie continues to be in high demand due to its ideal location in the region,” said Valerie Cottreau, City Assessor.
“As the City invests in infrastructure, community services and local amenities, Airdrie remains a top choice to call home.”

Consistent regional growth and low vacancy in Airdrie's residential and non-residential markets have led to price increases across all property types throughout the city.

Assessment values are determined through a mass appraisal approach, considering factors such as market conditions, sale prices, property location, and the age, lot size, square footage, and features of the home. More information on how property assessments are calculated can be found at airdrie.ca/assessment.

Residents can also view their property assessment details on their myAIRDRIE account. Those without an account can sign up at myAIRDRIE.ca and use the web code and tax roll provided on their Assessment notice to link their property to their account.

If property owners notice any discrepancies between their property information and the details listed in the assessment notice, they should complete an online property verification form or contact the Assessment department at 403.948.8855.

Property owners have until March 24, to request an assessment value review. After that date, property taxes will be calculated and billed based on the assessed value. Questions about Assessment notices can be directed to the Assessment Department at 403.948.8855.
