Skate Parks

The Chinook Winds skate park is located behind the baseball diamonds on Chinook Winds Drive, just south of Yankee Valley Blvd. 

For the safety and enjoyment of all patrons, please:

  • Wear the gear! Protective helmets are mandatory, elbow pads and knee pads are recommended
  • Do not use the skate park in icy or wet conditions
  • BMX riders - to help our facility last longer, park pegs are required
  • Respect the facility, respect others, be careful and HAVE FUN!

The skate park is not a bookable space and will not be booked out or closed for private use or functions.

*Note: The park is unsupervised. The City of Airdrie is not responsible for any loss, damages or injuries resulting from the use of this facility. 

Ron Ebbesen Twin Arenas seasonal skate park

A temporary/portable skate park has been installed at the Ron Ebbesen Twin Arenas parking lot at 200 East Lake Crescent NE. The skate park is open daily until 10 p.m. through  Sept. 2, 2024. Skate park safety guidelines apply.
