The Canada Dental Benefit is an interim benefit designed to help families access basic dental care. Long term, the Federal government plans to implement a national dental care program for families making less than $90,000 per year. This interim benefit can be used for any dental care by a regulated dental professional. This benefit provides up to $650 per year, per eligible child under 12 for up to two years.
Applications open on Dec. 1, 2022 and will cover treatments dated from Oct. 1, 2022 onwards provided the child is still under the age of 12 on Dec. 1, 2022
