City growth trends and changes (Growth Report)

Airdrie continues to be one of the fastest-growing municipalities in Canada with:

• 18.5 per cent increase in population since 2019

• 20 per cent increase in business licenses issued over five years
• 17 per cent increase in employment from 2019-2023

Airdrie's population is forecasted to increase by 29.5 per cent from 2024 - 2028.
