Hello To Go

Hello To Go is an on-demand local transit service that provides customers with the option to book their trip in advance through an app, online or on the phone. Customers must provide their current location and their desired destination. Hello To Go only travels within Airdrie city limits.

How to book

Download the app, create an account and start booking your trips!

Google Play - Hello to go

Apple Store - Hello to go

Additional booking options:

1. Book online at Hello to Go

2. Contact Airdrie Transit, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Customers can book their trips up to seven days in advance.

How to use the Hello To Go app:

Once you have entered your trip information in the app, you will be provided with an estimated pick-up time and location. Your pick-up and drop-off location may be a traditional bus stop with a sign posted, or may be a “virtual” bus stop.

Virtual bus stops:

A virtual bus stop is a designated location for customer pick-ups and drop-offs. Virtual bus stops do not have traditional bus stop signs or bus benches. Airdrie Transit has created several virtual bus stops within Airdrie to ensure that your bus stop will be in a convenient and safe location for you.

See all pick-up and drop-off locations (both traditional bus stops and virtual bus stops) on the Transit Map.

Pick-up:

Customers will need to be waiting at their pick-up location at the beginning of their pick-up window, as provided in the app, to prevent missing the bus. For example, for a pickup window of 9 a.m. to 9:15 a.m., you must be at your bus stop and prepared to board the bus at 9 a.m.

The maximum time the bus will wait at your pick-up location is one minute. This allows the bus to be on-time for the next pick-up.

Tracking the bus:

Customers can track their ride, while they wait, using the Hello To Go app. The app will also provide customers with updates on arrival times. When your ride is getting close, the app will send a notification.

Cancellations:

If your plans change and you no longer require your bus trip, please cancel your booking as soon as possible. Late cancellations can result in an automatic booking limitation being placed on your account.

Modifications:

Once a trip has been booked you cannot edit that booking. If you require modifications to your trip, we ask that you cancel your original trip and book a new one. This includes any changes to location, passengers or time.

Multiple people:

Customers can book a trip for multiple people. When booking your ride, select the number of riders that are travelling with you. Upon boarding the bus, the driver will confirm that the total passengers boarding matches the booking that was made.

Not able to find a ride:

Customers that can't book a trip, may be attempting to book during high-demand times. We encourage customers to keep trying as the schedule continually updates as spots open up. If you keep receiving an "in high-demand" message at the end of your booking request, that means we are fully booked at the time you have selected.

Cost:

The cost for this service is the same as our local rates. See Passes, tickets and fares for the latest rates and payment options.

Hours of Service:

Monday to Friday - 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Saturday - 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Sunday - 8 a.m to 6 p.m.

Accessibility:

All Hello-to-Go buses are fully accessible with ramps. Please identify if a mobility aid (such as an electric scooter or wheelchair) will be needed.
